Patients Helping Hands dedicated to providing aid and support to patients in need

Spreading Smiles

Patients Helping Hands (PHH) is a non-profit organisation run solely by the students of Jinnah Sindh Medical University. The organisation, dedicated to providing aid and support to patients in need, primarily operates at the JPMC and its affiliated hospitals in Karachi. PHH was built on the principles of compassion, kindness, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community with the aim of providing support and assistance to those in need. Since its inception in 2011, Patients Helping Hands has continued to work towards this goal, expanding its reach and impact across the city. At PHH, they believe that every individual deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their socio-economic status, and have been able to make a significant difference in the lives of countless patients, providing them with the care and support they require during their time of need. PHH works tirelessly to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers, providing essential medical and financial assistance to those who cannot afford quality healthcare services. Recently, PHH organised a special Eid event at NICH for the children admitted there, titled 'Choti Eid ki Bari Khushiyan'. The event was a resounding success, with over 200 children in attendance, and a range of fun activities and treats provided for them to enjoy. It was organised by a team of dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was planned and executed to perfection.
