Meesha Shafi praised by Bally Sagoo for her version of Boom Boom

Singing icon and powerhouse vocalist Meesha Shafi recently covered Nazia Hassan’s hit pop song Boom Boom in the first season of Velo Sound Station. The tribute became an instant hit, and fans from all over the world shared their love and appreciation. British-Indian record producer, Bally Sagoo also shared his thoughts about Meesha’s version of the song. “I do like this version!” he tweeted. Overjoyed by the recognition, Meehsa couldn’t help contain her excitement. “Massive massive fan girl moment!” she posted on social media. “Incredibly happy and dancing nonstop to Gurr Naal Ishq Mittha OHO!” she further added. Nazia Hassan’s brother Zoheb Hassan also commended Meesha’s effort. “Of all the love and appreciation pouring in from all over the world, nothing can match the emotional value of this acknowledgment,” posted the singer. Earlier, while speaking about her original cover version of Boom Boom, Meesha said: “Recreating an iconic and evergreen hit song close to many music lover’s hearts is a big responsibility. Nazia Hassan is such a timeless icon.”
