For too long the fashion industry has ignored plus-size women. Body positivity might be a buzzy term, but the fashion offering for larger women is still limited. But, times are changing and more and more celebrities are stepping up to raise awareness about body positivity. One such celebrity is laywer turned comedian, Faiza Saleem. Famous for her messages of self-love and body positivity, Faiza has never been one to shy away from speaking out for what she believes in. Recently, she posted a video that conveyed a very important message about clothing brands not making clothes beyond the sizes of small, medium and large. In the video, she said, “I get many messages from innocent people asking me where I got my sweatshirt from or where I got my tracksuit from, where is this sweater from and every time I have to tell them that I did not get it from Pakistan. Unfortunately, I had to order from abroad.” She continued, “Every person of every size feels cold. Introduce sweaters, hoodies, sweatshirts for every size since everyone has the right to wear stylish winter apparel and stay warm.”
