60 SECONDS WITH SADAF KANWAL

The Pakistani supermodel Sadaf Kanwal has been the ‘It’ girl of tinsel town for the longest time. In her easy-charm, bold brows and magical looks, our fashion industry appears to have discovered its own Greek goddess. She is intense, she is bold; she has the power to entrap the snare of camera's lens. From being glorified at billboard high, to entrancing the masses with her exotic belly dance in Kaif-o-Suroor, she knows it all. Having worked with the crème de la crème of the fashion fraternity, she has bagged a couple of prestigious awards for her modelling spells. Taking the reins of her life, she has lived through her dreams and still continues to do so. MAG connects with the most sought after model in our fashion industry for a quick and fun rapid fire. Here are 60 seconds from her life. Excerpts:

What is one quality which sets you apart from your contemporaries?

That one quality is that I don’t let anything get to me. I don’t let people’s opinions hurt me. I have a thick skin and I have learnt to live with the fact that people will criticise you no matter what you do.

Telepathy, so I can communicate without saying anything. To eat without gaining weight since I am a big foodie. To go back in the era of 40’s and meet Marilyn Monroe; she is my ideal. I love her a lot.

How would you define your fashion philosophy?

My fashion philosophy is definitely being confident in whatever I wear or whatever I carry.
