The short film culture continues to take the Pakistani film industry by storm. The essence of a short film is that it sends across powerful messages within a few minutes. All the movie lovers who can’t take out time to Netflix and chill really have started to rely on short films to fulfill their yearning to watch a good flick. And if you are one of those people then you really need to tune into Faizan Sheikh’s recently released short film, Kahaani. The film revolves around a man and his wife. The man is a struggling writer, trying his hardest to make ends meet, but despite their financial issues, the couple is happily married. The man writes a bunch of different scripts but the TV channel head, just does not seem to like his content and tells him to write a story on betrayal. But what happens next will change his life, either for the best or the worst. This enthralling film by Asad Pathan is scripted down by Shahid Dogar, and co-produced by Ali Hussain and Mahib Bukhari and stars Faizan Sheikh and Maryam Noor in the lead.
