As the Covid-19 vaccine rollout continues, here are the celebrities who have gotten immunised

Breaking the chain

Two Covid-19 vaccines were released in December 2020 from pharmaceutical giants Moderna and Pfizer, giving many people hope that the pandemic was coming to an end. And while there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel and many countries are ramping up their vaccine distribution, there's still a long way to go before most of the general public can get their shots. Now, with more vaccines approved, more and more people are getting the chance to protect themselves. High-priority groups, such as essential workers, health care workers, and older adults are still getting priority in most places, though the Pakistani government has set the target to vaccinate 70 million people by the end of 2021, hence, reducing the age limit for the free vaccine from time to time. Now, many local celebrities are also getting their vaccines and coming forward with their firsthand accounts of receiving the Covid-19 vaccine in an effort to quell skepticism as vaccination efforts roll out across the world. Some of those celebrities include Faysal Quraishi, Neelum Muneer, Yasir Nawaz, Nida Yasir and Armeena Khan. Many senior celebrities who have been vaccinated include Bahroze Sabzwari, Javed Sheikh, Bushra Ansari, Seemi Raheal, Anwar Maqsood, Talat Hussain, Samina Peerzada, Zia Mohyeddin amongst others.
