Summer Fashion Vignette

Brighten up your wardrobe with these warm weather fabrics, prints and colours

Triple digit days mean the struggle is real. One simple step to stay cool in 108-degree weather? It’s all in the fabrics, prints and cool colours you wear. That being said, lawn is the most breathable summer fabric to help you chill out the sunny days. With high-end designers launching their casual to luxury lawn collections, women are falling in love with lawn, all over again. A beautiful lawn number is a statement in itself; it does the talking for you as you flaunt the breezy fabric on you. Most women are inadvertently drawn towards its magnetic enchantment. So, just like every year, don’t steer away from this lightweight fabric in florals and digital prints, and go for bespoke colours.

Speaking of summer and prints, this time of the year is the best time to invest in floral prints and designs. The floral trend still continues from previous years with printed pants, mini-dresses, skirts, kurtis and now even your trousers and everything else retailers can put a flower on.

Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of summer. Floral prints offer a touch of femininity to warm weather style so you can bring out your girlish charm with every outfit and accessory you wear. So, whether you’re looking to make a splash or just to update your current style, there’s no reason why you should leave that floral kurti on the rack… embrace the floral trend! Fashion designers and celebrities have embraced bold florals as this summer’s new statement pattern in a number of different clothes, making it all the easier for you to get a little flowery.

Digital prints are also all the rage this season. These printed ensembles have been ruling over the lawn scene since quite a few years now. They have become a must-have summer print and it’s not going to be any different this year. So, get on this trend bandwagon and embrace this style with elegance and grace. There are a whole range of patterns you can choose from.

Now as we have already talked about the summer fabrics and prints, it’s time to look into the summer-appropriate hues. These sunny days are all about donning vibrant colours that have summertime written all over them. And nothing says bright like a good orange and pink shade. Don’t get us wrong – we love classic, one-tone outfits dearly. But every once in a while, we like to spice it up a bit with our colours. And as is often the case, to get our colour wheels turning, we looked to our favourite A-list actors to uncover the hues they’ve been wearing as of late. Our findings? Pink and orange are the colours of summer 2021 – and we’re following suit stat. Apart from these two, pretty ombre shades are also having a major moment and we are so here for it!
