Ace musician and singer Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan aka Xulfi will be heading the upcoming season of Coke Studio. Xulfi on his social media platforms made the official announcement when he shared a picture of a Coke Studio season 14 named folder. "Beyond the Wave," the folder read with the tagline "transcending boundaries". He captioned the picture, "The journey begins." The announcement was also made by Coke Studio on social media. Tagging Xulfi in a tweet, the music show asked, "Shuru karain?" To which he replied with a smiley emoji. Xulfi already is a fan favourite in Pakistan. In his initial days, the musician played for Call and EP – two bands that gave us hit after hit and garnered immense fame. He previously worked with Nescafe Basement, and has produced some iconic numbers with millions of views. Like most of us, Hyatt has also been a longtime admirer of Xulfi and had given him his vote of confidence to run the show following his exit. While replying to a fan, he said, "There are many candidates for Coke Studio," he replied, confessing "Xulfi is the best option in my opinion." We can definitely vouch for Xulfi and extremely excited to witness what the maestro has in stores for us.
