This is a great initiative particularly the scholarship to go study film in the US. This is a very encouraging and positive step for the extremely talented youth of Pakistan. I cannot agree more about the importance of the Perception of Pakistan. #NASFF

The National Amateur Short Film Festival is an initiative taken by the government which is meant to proffer a chance to the enormously talented youth to produce high quality short films projecting the positive image of Pakistan. Kubra Khan pays her condolences on the demise of veteran Pakistani film and TV star Begum Khursheed Shahid who passed away after a prolonged illness in Lahore. She began her acting as well as singing career at the age of nine. She also received the country’s highest civil award, the Pride of Performance in 1984.
