Tooba, the champion of the fashion runway who took the glitzy road and moved to the economic hub when she started modelling 20 years ago, the journey wasn’t so smooth, after all. “Tariq Amin introduced me in this field and the story is too old to even mention now. But it was somewhere in the middle that we didn’t get along and had an issue; that was a period which was a bit hard for me as a lot of people from the fashion industry stopped working with me so I really had to self step up. That was the only time, after that it was all good,” she recalls. But even with new faces taking on the screens every now and then, Tooba has been a constant. She has dramas like Bol Meri Machli, Noor Bano, Khuda Aur Mohabbat Season 3 and films like Dobara Phir Se to her credit. But now Tooba has started taking matters into her own hands and has went from actress for hire to bona fide boss by stepping behind the camera and embracing role as a writer-producer for a new drama serial titled as Gumn.
