Superstar Mahira Khan made her TV comeback recently with Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay and instantly won hearts with her incredible performance. She will now be essaying Lieutenant General Nigar Johar in the upcoming project Aik Hai Nigar. Last year, Lieutenant General Nigar Johar made history by becoming the first female officer to be promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and Mahira feels honoured to be able to play a woman she admires. Taking to Instagram, Mahira shared a teaser of the telefilm and penned a heartfelt note. “Honoured to be able to play a woman I admire so much. Pakistan Army’s first female three-star General. Aik Hai Nigar traces the life and career of Lieutenant General Nigar Johar,” she wrote. “What a life, what a story… to know her, is to know one of the greatest we have amongst us.” Bilal Ashraf will also be seen in an important role in the telefilm written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Adnan Sarwar. Aik Hai Nigar is a tribute which is being produced by Mahira’s production, Soul Fry Films.
