Mexican Lasagna

Ingredients

· 1 kg ground beef

· 1 can fried beans

· 1 can green chilies

· 1 taco seasoning

· 2 tablespoons hot salsa

· 1 pack lasagna noodles

· 4 cups jack cheese

· 1 jar mild salsa

· 2 cups water

· 2 cups sour cream

· 1 can ripe olives

· 3 onions

Method

Preheat the oven to 250°C. In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in beans, chilies, taco seasoning and hot salsa. In a greased baking dish, layer a third of the noodles and meat mixture. Sprinkle with one cup of cheese. Repeat layers twice. Combine mild salsa and water; pour over top. Cover and bake for one hour. Top with sour cream, olives, chopped onions, tomatoes and remaining cheese. Bake it uncovered for five minutes. Let stand for about 10-15 minutes before cutting and serve.
