Ingredients

• 1 cup gram-flour

• 1 onion cut into cubes

• 2 potatoes

• 1½ teaspoon red chilli powder

• 1½ teaspoon salt

• 1 tablespoon coriander seeds

• 5-6 green sliced chillies

• ½ bunch cilantro leaves

• Oil for deep frying

Method

Mix gram flour with enough water to form a paste of medium consistency and knead it well. Add all dry ingredients to the paste and mix until well combined. Now add onions, potatoes, green chilies and cilantro leaves in the mixture and mix it well. Heat the oil over medium-high heat. Using a tablespoon per pakora, pour mixture into the oil and fry for one minute either sides. On a dish spread paper towel to absorb excess oil. Remove the fried pakoras and place on the dish until you are done frying all of them. Remove the paper towel and serve with the chutney of your choice.
