The last stop of bridal couture for 2021 was Lahore, where designers showcased their creations sprinkled among the historical landmarks of the Mughal City of Gardens. The city itself is a source of inspiration for designers and editors, and especially for this wedding season, as fashion gets back to in-person shows after several seasons of virtual. While pastel colours and minimal designs have been a consistent theme for the past few seasons, there was a lot of look back to the traditional bridal attire this season. The 19th edition of the Bridal Couture Week took place from December 10 to 12, 2021 and featured new bridal trends by established and emerging fashion designers and an amazing runway show experience with an illustrious list of showstoppers including Hania Aamir, Hareem Farooq, Kinza Hashmi, Kubra Khan, Ali Rehman, Sonya Hussyn, Mehreen Syed, Ushna Shah and many others. This year, 28 established and burgeoning designers and retail brands graced the runway to showcase their latest bridal collections. The designers’ roster included Fahad Hussayn, Emraan Rajput, Asifa Nabeel, Umsha by Uzma Babr, Munib Nawaz, Nickie & Nina, Saira Rizwan, Rici Melion, Nisa Hussain, Harris Shakeel, Humayun Alamgir, Reema Ehsan, Rizwan Ahmed, Sable Vogue, Zonia Anwaar, Abeera Usman, Arooj Aziz, Ahsan’s menswear, Alishba & Nabeel, Diners, Edge Republic, Almirah, FAS Design Studio, Fatima Salamat, Hiba Asim, House of Arsalan Iqbal, Mina Kashif and Uniworth.
