Azaan Sami Khan’s Ik Lamha revels in the ‘60s nostalgia

On the music front

Considering that music videos are still relatively new as a concept – artists didn't begin putting effort into purpose-made clips for their songs until around the 1970s – it's managed to excel as an art form, often expressing and condensing some seriously impressive emotions and stories into a three or four-minute-long clip. But amidst the various works of art and beautiful creations are some music videos that take us back to the golden age of entertainment i.e. the ‘60s, which we absolutely love. Singer and actor Azaan Sami Khan has released his new song Ik Lamha along with the video which gives us some major Gatsby-esque vibes. The video takes us back to Karachi in 1964. Ik Lamha’s video features Azaan Sami Khan and Maya Ali as leads. Khan is seen dressed up in a tuxedo while Ali dons the iconic ‘60s hairdo and makeup. The music video is helmed by Ehteshamuddin while the lyrics for the song have been penned by award-winning lyricist AM Turaz.
