The #MeToo movement has been a powerful force in helping to raise awareness of sexual harassment, especially in the workplace. It has provided a platform for those affected to speak openly about their ordeals. While the entertainment industry may appear to be all glitz and glam on the surface, the industry has seen its fair share of scandals through the years, allegations of harassment against some of the biggest stars being one of them. Recently, Journalist Ayesha binte Rashid called out singer Ali Noor on his sexual misconduct. Initially, Ali apologised for his behaviour on his Instagram, tagging Ayesha saying he is “truly deeply sorry”. Now, the singer seems to have a change of heart. After apologising, Ali denied all allegations of sexual harassment. In an Instagram story, he wrote with a hashtag #StopMockeryOfMeToo, "I sent you an apology by putting my entire life on stake and you have the audacity to not accept my heartfelt words. I deny all allegations of sexual harassment against me and I never admitted to them to start with."
