Career-defining moment?

The day I decided I want to have a career.

Happiness is…

Being grateful for being who you are with what you have.

The key to success is…

Be grateful and be able to do things that make you manifest a better you. Be in the moment, learn and laugh and always be positive.

Key life lesson?

Be here now.

What inspires you?

Life. Happiness. Beauty. Music. Literature.

Advice to your younger self?

Don't worry. Life has its own plans bigger than yours.

Greatest life achievement?

Learning how to be happy.

Greatest fear?

Pain.

Biggest joy?

Being around friends and family.

Something you still want to learn?

Everything.

Trends you are already fed up with?

Skinny everything – lapel, tie, pants, shorts, shirts, people. Let's live large.

The most common mistakes celebrities commit when dressing up for the red carpet?

Trusting their own style sense over their stylists’/designers’. If you have them, trust them. If you don't have one, get one.

Trends you are looking forward to sporting and incorporating into your work?

Athleisure and organic fabrics.

What’s your design philosophy like?

At a philosophical level, it would have to be “balancing the paradox”. But on a more operational level, it's “looking like a rockstar, feeling like royalty and acting like a gentleman”.
