Actor Mariyam Nafees and filmmaker Amaan Ahmed are now married. The couple tied the knot in an intimate daytime nikkah ceremony that took place on March 25 in Islamabad. They celebrated their dholki and mayun a few days before the nikkah. It was followed by grand wedding festivities in the presence of family and friends. In the videos posted on social media, an emotional Nafees can be seen signing the nikkah papers. The actor wore a stunning white coloured dress, it was embellished with intricate gold details and was paired with a red dupatta at the time of the nikkah ceremony. The outfit was accessorised with traditional gold jewellery and the bride wore a sleek hair bun, and completed it with flowers. For her makeup, Nafees opted for a subtle day-time glam look. She wore soft, gold and orange-toned eye makeup with a winged eyeliner. The look was topped with a red lip colour. The groom wore a grey sherwani with a pastel blue pocket-square. Seems like white was the official theme as many guests were spotted wearing white at the event. Nafees had shared photos of her and Ahmed's Dua e Khair back in 2021, making their relationship Instagram official at the time. Weeks ago, Ahmed surprised the actor with a dreamy marriage proposal at a picturesque location. Nafees is known for her roles in television dramas like Mohabbat Chorh Di Maine, Munafiq and Diyar-e-Dil. We wish the couple a very happy married life ahead.
