Tawa Chicken Qeema

Ingredients

· 700 g chicken mince

· Salt to taste

· 1 tablespoon red chilli powder

· 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

· 1 tablespoon fenugreek leaves (dried)

· 1 tablespoon crushed coriander seeds

· 1 teaspoon turmeric

· 1 teaspoon all-spice powder

· ½ cup oil

· 20 g butter

· 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped

· 2 onions

· 6 tomatoes

· 5-6 green chillies

· 10 g mint leaves

· 10 g coriander leaves

Method

In a flat pan, heat the oil. Add the chicken mince, chopped garlic, onion, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt, red chilli powder, crushed red pepper, fenugreek leaves, crushed coriander seeds, all-spice powder, turmeric and cook it for about 10-12 minutes. Add half cup of water and let it simmer for five-six minutes on a medium low flame. Cook it well until done and then add butter in it. Garnish the dish with chopped coriander leaves, tomatoes and green chillies. The tawa chicken qeema is ready to serve.
