60 SECONDS WITH ZOYA NASIR

Makeup artist turned actress, Zoya Nasir made her screen debut back in 2018. Nasir has had a hell of a career so far. She bagged a lead for her debut alongside Junaid Khan in their drama Hania. Nasir comes from a showbiz family, daughter of the Maula Jutt famed screenwriter Nasir Adib, but Zoya chose her own path to unravel in the entertainment industry. She was seen as an antagonist in Geo TV’s drama Deewangi alongside Danish Taimoor and Hiba Bukhari and then with veteran actress Bushra Ansari in the drama Zebaish. Nasir is most recently seen in the drama serial Badzaat and a Ramzan special series Chaudhry and Sons. In just a span of three years, she has made a great start in the industry. But she still has a long way to go and we are expecting her to live up to her powerful debut in her subsequent projects. This insightful actor and person joined MAG for a quick and fun rapid fire. Definitely mind reading.

Describe the next 10 years of your life, and your plans.

Why would I plan and restrict my endless possibilities? I could be anywhere, anyone or maybe just done.

Your dream collaboration?

Dream collaboration would be me acting for a script written by my dad.

If you were a product, what would be your tagline?

Hakuna Matata.

If you weren't an actress, you’d be…

A beautician.

The three qualities that got you where you are today?

Patience, persistence and perseverance.

Who do you admire most and why?

My mom for being extremely emotionally strong.

Favourite quote?

There is freedom waiting for you, on the breezes of the sky, and you ask, “What if I fall?” Oh but, my darling, what if you fly?

What’s your idea of a perfect day?

Anywhere with my dearest ones.

One thing you are exceptionally good at and one thing you are epically bad at?

I’m exceptionally good at cooking and epically bad at technology.
