Usman Mukhtar's latest short film Aik Tou Tum Aurtain, pays tribute to women, especially at home women without whom surviving the pandemic wouldn’t have been possible. It honours their importance in the everyday life that's pushed to the background. Helmed by Nadeem Baig, the short is a SeePrime production and stars Madiha Imam as the leading lady opposite Mukhtar. The film focuses particularly on the pandemic, making a point of how women in our society fought the pandemic resiliently. "This project is close to my heart. I have always felt that our society discredits women and continually tries to put them down. I am so glad that I have had the opportunity to work on a project that is tackling and shedding light on a narrative mostly swept under the rug. We all know how challenging the pandemic has been, and it is high time we recognise the importance of the women in our lives that make our houses into homes, and give credit where it is due," said Mukhtar.
