While big companies continue to raise prices, HSY comes to our rescue

Cost crisis

As companies across virtually every sector of the economy continue to grapple with inflation at its highest level, more executives are taking a closer look at whether to increase prices. But there are more dynamics at play than just rising costs, and businesses need to take a broader view as they assess whether now is the time to make such price hikes. And while the persistent sky-high inflation has triggered a slew of price hikes from major companies that serve millions of consumers, one of Pakistan’s biggest bridal couturiers HSY recently announced that he hasn't joined other companies in raising prices. The designer revealed the news in an Instagram post that read as, "We consider our customers our family who have helped us get to where we are today. As a way of giving back, we have decided not to raise our prices despite the tough times that we as a nation have been faced with. With prices going up day after day, the one thing you won’t have to worry about is wardrobe preps for the wedding season! To add a little something extra, we are also considering providing payment plans to accommodate you in any way that we can. Come visit us, talk to us and let us take care of your style needs.”
