After long legal battles and years of delay, The Legend of Maula Jatt is set to release on October 13 in cinemas worldwide and the action-filled trailer is out now. The trailer was captioned, “From times untold where legends are written in soil with blood, a hero is born. Maula Jatt, a fierce prizefighter with a tortured past seeks vengeance against his arch nemesis Noori Natt, the most feared warrior in the land of Punjab. Loyalties are challenged and families torn apart in this epic tale of truth, honour and justice.” Directed by Bilal Lashari, The Legend of Maula Jatt stars Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Mirza Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Nayyer Ejaz, Shafqat Cheema, Raheela Agha, Zia Khan and Saima Baloch. The film is being produced by Ammara Hikmat’s Encyclomedia and Lashari Films. The distribution will be done by Mandviwalla Entertainment. Mandvivalla told Variety, “It is our immense pleasure to become a part of the most ambitious project from Pakistan, The Legend of Maula Jatt, an Encyclomedia and Lashari Films production. Releasing the spectacular The Legend of Maula Jatt is not only going to be challenging but is also perceived to create a milestone in the history of Pakistani cinema.”
