Sakina Samo’s film ‘Intezaar’ finally gets a release date

Pakistani films are on a roll this year and there are even more we can expect to see on the big screen. Due to Covid-19, a lot of scheduled films came to a halt, including Sakina Samo’s directorial debut Intezaar starring Samina Ahmed, Khalid Ahmed, Kaif Ghaznavi, Raza Ali Abid and Adnan Jaffar. But there’s some good news for fans – the film is finally ready to be released. Talking to a publication, the veteran actor confirmed that her movie is finally coming to theatres in August. “Yes, it’s true that the film is being released finally. It was delayed because of Covid-19 and IMGC is releasing it as they had it initially. It was scheduled to release on March 21 but then Covid happened and it came to a halt, not just Intezaar but the entire world came to a halt,” she said. She added, “Let’s see how it goes because the film is nice, of course I’d say that because it’s my baby, but I’d like to add that the film is different and all type of films should be put up because we have audience of all types.”
