A new month looms on the horizon which means lots of new movies coming to Netflix! Here are our top 8 picks of the best and most anticipated new movies that are due to hit your screen in Pakistan this month


The School for Good and Evil|
Coming to Netflix: October 19th

Hitting Netflix as part of the streamers expansive Halloween lineup is The School from Good and Evil, a new fantasy adaptation helmed by Paul Fieg behind the camera and Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron in front of it. The movie will follow two best friends finding themselves on opposite sides of the school that they attend that places people into aspiring heroes and villains.

While nobody has sampled the movie as of yet, it does appear to have the same kind of allure that the first Harry Potter movie did so our fingers are crossed that this has a similar amount of magic.


Too Close for Christmas
Coming to Netflix: October 1st

The Watcher
Coming to Netflix: October 13th

A second Netflix original from Ryan Murphy in as many months, fans of Muprhy’s work will be delighted to learn that The Watcher is a horror series. After the Brannock family moves into what was supposed to be their suburban dream home, it quickly becomes a living hell. Ominous letters from someone calling themselves “The Watcher” are just the beginning as the neighborhood’s sinister secrets come spilling out.


The Good Nurse
Coming to Netflix: October 26th

Another movie getting a limited theatrical run will be The Good Nurse which stars two huge stars. We’re referring to Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain who will be under the direction of Danish filmmaker Tobias Lindholm. Adapting the Charles Graeber book, the movie is about a caregiver who eventually gets caught and implicated in the deaths of hundreds of patients.


Luckiest Girl Alive
Coming to Netflix: October 07th

We love a Netflix thriller, and the platform’s upcoming Mila Kunis-led film - Luckiest Girl Alive - has already got us hooked. Based on the novel by Jessica Knoll (and produced by Reese Witherspoon, no less!), the film focuses on Ani FaNelli, a New Yorker with the seemingly perfect life who's actually hiding a dark secret. Luckiest Girl Alive centers on Ani FaNelli, a sharp-tongued New Yorker who appears to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a killer wardrobe, and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon.

But when the director of a crime documentary invites her to tell her side of the shocking incident that took place when she was a teenager at the prestigious Brentley School, Ani is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to unravel her meticulously crafted life.


Dubai Bling
Coming to Netflix: October 27th

It is a high-gloss docusoap that follows some of the movers and shakers in the UAE’s glitziest metropolis. Premiering on October 27th, the series offers behind-the-scenes access to the work-hard, play-hard lives of 10 strivers who are living the dream in Dubai, making their names in fields that range from real estate, finance and entertainment to social media stardom. The cast features not only high-flyers from the region’s multinational Arabic cultures in the UAE, Lebanon, Kuwait and Iraq, but also ambitious expats from countries such as India or Australia who have come to Dubai to forge their fortunes.

Naturally, with big dreams and big egos comes big drama, and the series avidly details all the competitiveness and tensions that result as the spotlighted cast members play out their charmed lives against the backdrop of luxury cars, high-end nightspots and exotic resorts.
