The character is a Pakistan Air Force F-16 pilot, one of my childhood dreams was to fly an F-16. I think a lot of my desires have been fulfilled in this film,” he said. Speaking about the title, Irfani quoted a saying in Urdu implying that the title has more to it. “Aasmaan Bolay Ga, Khuda ke liye bol warna aasmaan bolay ga [For God’s sake, speak or else the sky will speak]. His legacy has become the completion of this saying.” Reportedly, the film is based on Operation Swift Retort which occurred on 27th February 2019. Maya Ali will be playing an Indian journalist while Emmad Irfani will play the hero of that day Squadron Leader Hassan Siddiqui.
