60 SECONDS WITH SAMI KHAN

The movie business is not new to Sami Khan – the talented actor, before entering the television world, made his acting debut on the silver screen. He played a valiant police officer in Salakhain in 2004, opposite Zara Sheikh. His other major projects on the silver screen included: Deewar Bhabi, Gumm, Wrong Number 2, Kaaf Kangana, and Lafangey. The actor's latest release is Yaara Vey, a romantic love story about two youngsters settled abroad. Sami was super busy promoting his new movie when we caught up with him. The actor responded to our rapid-fire round in a fun mood. Excerpts:

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

I would say that I’m hard working, patient, sincere, gamer, and friendly.

What makes you smile and what scares you the most?

While I am around my family I am happy. Losing my parents scare me the most.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I like to play games on my play station 5.

Would you date a fan?

I think we should not take the word date in wrong sense. If you mean by meeting someone by it, then of course there isn’t any harm to spend good times in the company of a fan.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

My favourite author is Dan Brown – and the last book I read must be any of his novel.

What's your annoying habit?

I think I don’t know how to say ‘no’ especially when it is needed the most.

Life for you is …?

It is a blessing.

Social Media is….?

It depends how you use it. It can be helpful and toxic at the same time so decide how you want it to be in your life.
