· ½ cup butter
· 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
· 2 teaspoons dried oregano
· 2 teaspoons onion powder
· 2 teaspoons garlic powder
· 150 g frozen chicken wings, thawed
· ½ cup butter
· 2 bottles hot pepper sauce
In a saucepan, bring one bottle hot pepper sauce, ½ cup butter, the Worcestershire sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder to a boil. Once boiling, turn the heat to low and simmer for about five minutes. Place the chicken wings in a slow cooker and cover with the sauce mixture. Cook wings on high for two hours, and then on low for an additional two hours. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease several baking sheets. Transfer the wings to prepared baking sheets and cook for half an hour. While the wings are baking, melt ½ cup of butter and one bottle of hot sauce in a pan. Simmer for about 20 minutes, or until thickened. Brush this sauce on the wings right before serving.
