Urwa Hocane features in Amanat Ali’s song about Punjabi folklore, Mirza Sahiban

MELODIOUS FOLKLORE

The gorgeous Urwa Hocane and handsome Hassan Khan feature as Mirza and Sahiban of Punjabi folklore in Amanat Ali’s latest song, Sahiban.

The video is a modern take on the traditional tale with a female-empowering twist. Unlike many other folk stories, the video of the song is shot in a modern set-up presenting Urwa and Hassan as young painters who are in love with each other.

Presented by Phavur Studios, the video has been directed by Hira Yousafzai and produced by Hira Farooq. The song sings to the younger generation who want to hear the stories of strong individuals unwavering in their aspirations. For the first time, we see the female lead, Urwa Hocane, as Sahiba basks in the essence of love for Mirza (Hassan Khan) and more importantly, herself.

The soulful vocals of Amanat Ali touched your heart making the song a must on the playlist of all the romantic souls out there.
