Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy's next directorial venture ‘Star Wars’ shooting is likely to kick off in April

NEW STAR WARS MOVIE IS IN MAKING!

Ms. Marvel's famed Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is all set to don the director’s hat – this time for Damon Lindelof’s Star Wars. Reportedly, the fillm will start production in April. Although the film will have a new group of leads, certain characters from the most recent Disney trilogy will appear. The script is jointly written by Justin Britt-Gibson and Lindelof.

It's understandable to suppose that Disney decided this was the best time to develop a new Star Wars movie given how well "Andor" did both critically and commercially. Many fans, meanwhile, are still disappointed with how the last trilogy played out. Many ardent fans of Star Wars decided to never watch another episode again. A planned trilogy from "The Last Jedi" by director Rian Johnson, originally announced in 2017, has been put on the back burner, but Johnson recently said he still hopes to make it.
