Bilal Lashari's directorial blockbuster The Legend of Maula Jatt, has set new benchmarks for films in Pakistan which surely is going to be difficult for upcoming movies to match. With variety of films coming out this year, Pakistani cinema is hopefully in for a roll of entertainment, old-school rom-com, and action-packed thrillers. Sanak, an upcoming psychological thriller directed by Hassan fareed and written by Vikram Bhatt, is set to hit cinemas this year. Sanak has received a lot of positive feedback and appears to be highly promising. In a counter with media, Vikram Bhatt stated, this is my most ambitious project ever because I’m writing for Pakistani cinema, I strongly believe the audience will enjoy the film as we have put a lot of thought into the screenplay development. Shyraa Roy stars in the psychological thriller with numerous known faces, like Resham, and Neelam Munir. It even features the cameos of Javed Sheikh. The movie also stars Muneeb Ali, Zubair Shariq, Beenish, Marhoom Bilal, Murad Kazmi and Zeenat Butt in parallel roles.
