Jemima Khan’s What’s Love Got to Do with It? that has our very own Sajal Aly in it has us all excited but is it going to release in Pakistan? The answer is yes. A publication after reaching out to several cinema houses confirmed the release of the film. Atrium Cinemas has confirmed that the film is scheduled for delayed release, on March 3. Nueplex Cinemas, The Arena and Cue Cinemas are yet to receive an update on the movie’s screening in Pakistan. The cross-cultural British rom-com premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September and at the Rome Film Festival in October last year, where it bagged the Best Comedy award. Khan’s “love letter” to Pakistan, directed by Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and written and co-produced by Khan, stars Sajal Aly, Lily James and Shahzad Latif. The film tells the story of documentary-maker and dating app addict Zoe (James) for whom swiping right has never been that great. The movie’s cast also includes Emma Thompson, Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhry, Mim Shaikh, Jeff Mirza, Iman Boujelouah, Mariam Haque and Sidhu Vee.
