Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) organised the first ever EconFest, an event with houseful sessions that debate regarding the dynamics of the economy of Pakistan as well as different societal issues. Actress Sanam Saeed attended the first day of the event that had thought provoking sessions.

Just noticed iTunes/Apple music - music portal classifies our Coke Studio Pakistan as “Indian Pop”. Other episodes are ‘Worldwide’ or ‘Asia’ – anything but ‘Pakistani’. Come on @AppleMusic give us this one at least! Coke Studio is a Pakistani success and we deserve to be recognised.

Mehwish Hayat lashes out at Apple Music for categorising Coke Studio Pakistan as Indian Pop on their portal. Coke Studio Pakistan is a hugely successful brand not only in Pakistan but worldwide. The actress called out the music portal asking to give us the rightful credit where it’s due.
