· 2-3 drops rose essence

· 2 cups chopped apple, banana, blueberry, orange and pomegranate

· 2-3 teaspoons chopped almonds or cashews

Method

In a bowl, take ¼ cup milk, add the custard powder or the cornstarch and mix to form a smooth paste with no lumps. Set aside. Pour two cups milk into a saucepan, add the sugar and keep on medium heat until it becomes hot, stirring. Now turn the heat to low and slowly add the prepared custard paste to it stirring continuously until the milk mixture turns thick. Remove from the heat; add a few drops of rose essence and set aside. Let the custard cool completely. Then in a bowl, add the whipping cream and whip it until it turns nice peak and fluffy then add the whipped cream into the custard and mix gently. In another bowl, add all the chopped fruits; then add the custard mixture to this and mix well to coat the fruits. Refrigerate the custard for a while. Sprinkle chopped dates, raisins, almonds or cashews just before serving and enjoy!
