Mansha Pasha and Ahmed Ali Akbar starrer upcoming drama Idiot is an ode to misfits

New Drama Alert!

Mansha Pasha and Ahmed Ali Akbar’s and upcoming drama Idiot is an ode to all the misfits out there who refuse to accept the world for what it is and seek to align it with the vision they have for it. Green Entertainment recently shared the trailer captioned, “To all the social misfits and rebels who question dysfunctional man-made norms of society, all the wanderers embarked on a journey of self-discovery, searching for the greater purpose of existence.” The trailer starts off with a seemingly meditating Akbar while in the background the narrator reads, “Who are you? Those who don’t know themselves, spend their lives in perplexity.” The scene switches to a younger Akbar who runs to a man tending to goats and says, “Uncle, can I ask you a question? Do you offer goats as sacrifice for God or for people?” Next thing you know; he gets told off by his father for asking such questions from elders instead of “respecting” them. The camera is back on adult Akbar whose face is now covered with bruises. After that, we see Pasha running towards an edge overlooking water while Akbar remarks aloud, “The courage needed for suicide outweighs the courage needed to solve life’s problems by far,” Directed by Anjum Shahzad, the drama has been written by Kifayat Rodani.
