Upcoming drama Jindo is filmed in the rustic dunes and deserts of Pakistan and depicts the powerful story of women who rebel against tribal patriarchy and fight against severe injustice. The story is supposedly scripted after a true life narrative. The trailer opens with a powerful dialogue that immediately captures the audience’s attention. It conveys the message that labeling the victims as weak is a grave mistake because the true tyrants are those who remain silent in the face of injustice. This sets the theme of injustice, and the denial of women’s rights is expertly portrayed throughout the trailer. Jindo is helmed by acclaimed director Anjum Shahzad and written by Qurban Ali Rao.
