Actor Madiha Imam recently tied the knot on May 1 with filmmaker Moji Basar. She announced the happy news on her Instagram handle by sharing her wedding photo. “Remember us in your prayers as we embark on this new chapter of our lives,” said the Ishq Jalebi actor. She chose to wear a beautiful traditional red lehanga by Zara Shahjahan on her special day while her husband was dressed in a cream-coloured sherwani. Several actors congratulated the Dil-e-Momin star under her Instagram post. “Simple and beautiful… MashaAllah. So happy for you Madiha wishing you two all the happiness in the world InshaAllah,” wished actor Mawra Hocane. Other celebrities including Shaista Lodhi, Ayeza Khan and Momal Sheikh also congratulated Imam. Imam began her career as a VJ and then gained fame for her performances in television dramas such as Khalish, Ishq Mein Teray, Heer, Ishq Jalebi and Dushmaan-E-Jaan. She also starred in Aik Jhooti Love Story alongside Bilal Abbas Khan. She made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with Dear Maya where she was seen along veteran Indian actor Manisha Koirala.
