Taylor Swift donates $100K to family of Chiefs parade shooting victim

Taylor Swift is among the thousands of people who have posted GoFundMe donations for the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the radio DJ and mother of two who was killed in the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade mass shooting on Feb. 14. The attack amid the Valentine’s Day celebration left 22 people injured, ranging between 8 and 47 years old.
Lopez-Galvan died during surgery after suffering a gunshot wound to her abdomen, The Kansas City Star reported. Among the donations were two separation donations from megastar Swift, who has made headlines as she’s supported her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend Travis Kelce this season. Kelce was also among the Chiefs players in attendance at the parade. Swift made two donations, each for $50,000, and wrote, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”
