Brie Larson has been playing video games for as long as she can remember. The actress and Nintendo aficionado was on hand in New York City last week to discuss the video game company’s newest Princess Peach-focused game, Princess Peach: Showtime!
The game sees the heroine fight villainess Grape as she tries to take over a theater and make every play end tragically. In order to save the day, Peach must enter each play to change the endings back, transforming into different versions of herself along the way, including a pastry chef, ninja, cowgirl, swordfighter, mermaid and ice skater.
“It’s great to join her in her journey, I’ve just loved her my whole life,” Larson told The Hollywood Reporter of the game shared, “I think I’ve probably played every Nintendo game that’s ever come out at this point, and so it’s just part of my life. It always has been. It’s never gotten old for me.”
