Actor Agastya Nanda spoke about the insecurities that he had going into his debut film, The Archies, and that religion helped him overcome his anxieties. But his concerns weren’t limited to his skills as an actor, or whether audiences would appreciate him. Agastya, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, said that he had a complex about his skin as he suffers from eczema.
Agastya opened up about this and a lot more on the latest episode of the podcast What the Hell Navya, hosted by his sister, Navya Naveli Nanda. He was joined by regular guests, mother Shweta Bachchan and grandmother Jaya Bachchan. In a lighthearted segment towards the end of the episode, Agastya was asked whom he’d turn to for skincare advice, and he said that he would turn to his mom.
Further opening up about his insecurities, the actor said, “It’s the worst thing, especially when you’re facing the screen. I remember looking at my cast members, and they have perfect, clean, shining, glowing skin, and I get these rashes and all. So, it’s a really annoying thing.”
