Devdas by Sanjay Leela Bhansali remains to be one iconic film. Shah Rukh Khan played the role of Devdas, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played Paro while Madhuri Dixit played Chandramukhi. Apart from these three another character that managed to get etched in everyone's hearts is that of Chunni Babu. Jackie Shroff stepped into the role and his bonding with SRK was much appreciated by all.

Recently, in a new podcast session with actress Karishma Tanna, Jackie made was asked whether he felt insecure being a part of multiple hero films and whether he felt that someone else will get more footage. To this, Jackie shared that he did not think about it at all. He gave an example of Amar Akbar Anthony and stated that everyone did such films. He spoke how nobody wanted to take up the part of Chunni Babu and since nobody was doing it, he picked up the role. He candidly added, “Tension nahi lene ka. Mujhe kabhi koi fikar hi nahi tha ki vo mera role katega, mujhe girane ki koshi karega, jiska jitna role hai vo utna khayega."
