Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to embrace parenthood in September 2024. Meanwhile, an old video of Ranveer is going viral on social media, wherein he revealed if he wants a boy or a girl. In the video, the actor was asked if he wants boy or a girl during the promotion of his film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The Ramleela actor said that it is not his choice and recited a dialogue from his film, when he said that when a person goes to a temple, they do not ask if you want a laddoo or a sheera. Similarly, in Ranveer's personal life, he is happy with what God decides for him.

During one of his appearances on a show, Ranveer spoke about having a baby girl like Deepika. He told everyone that she was a cute baby, having seen her baby pictures. He revealed that he told her that he wants a baby just like her. He had even spoken to the media about having the names of his kids sorted and said that it is a secret as he does not want people to steal it.
