Renowned host and actress Nida Yasir has responded to her husband, actor Yasir Nawaz's recent comments about second marriages. A few days ago, Yasir, during a podcast with his wife Nida and brother Danish Nawaz, jokingly suggested that the government should introduce a law requiring wives to arrange new marriages for their husbands every 15 years. Yasir further quipped that the law should also include a provision to imprison wives who refuse to arrange new marriages for their husbands.

In response, Nida commented, "Those who thunder, do not rain." She explained that Yasir often says the same thing in every interview. Recently, she appeared on Faisal Qureshi's podcast, where the host asked her about Yasir's remarks regarding a second marriage. Nida clarified that he was joking, saying, "If he were serious about his second marriage comments, I would never have let him say it." She added, "One should not take jokes too seriously, as it only spoils things without benefiting anyone." Nida also mentioned that if Yasir ever considers marrying again in old age, there's nothing she can do about it.
