Renowned Lollywood director Syed Noor says he is proud of actress Resham even though she does not acknowledge his mentorship. In a recent appearance on Dr. Affan Qaiser's podcast, Noor openly expressed disappointment over Resham's lack of acknowledgment, yet showered praised on her acting talents. He stated, "Although I introduced her to the film industry, she does not recognise me as her mentor. Instead, she attributes her success to Ayub Khawar and a few others."
Continuing his remarks, Noor added, "If Resham does not consider me her mentor, I have no complaints." The director further elaborated on the efforts he made to enhance Resham's on-screen persona, sharing, "I worked hard on her appearance, teaching her how to choose hairstyles and outfits. Despite all this, I am not upset with Resham."
Resham, in a recent interview, had accused Syed Noor of ruining her career, stating that he had humiliated her on a film set and questioned who would cast her in their films.
Resham also claimed that Syed Noor was the only director who understood her temperament, but he stopped offering her roles because he fell in love with actress Saima, whom he then cast in all his films.
