Seed Cake

Ingredients:
· 8oz. four
· 8oz. butter
· 6oz. sugar
· 4 eggs
· ½ tsp caraway seeds
· Essence
· ½ tsp baking powder
· Butter for greasing

Method:
Mix butter and sugar till white. Beat the eggs. Then add flour and beaten eggs slowly and go on mixing. Add half a teaspoon of caraway seeds, one teaspoon of essence (any kind) and baking powder. Stir a little. Spread a butter paper in a deep cake tin and grease over it with some butter; put the mixture into it, see that the sides do not become dirty. The mixture should be poured into the middle of the tin. This cake takes 45 minutes to an hour to bake.
