SCOTCH EGGS

Ingredients:
· 500g beef (steak cut)
· 3 boiled eggs to preference
· 1 raw egg
· 2 slices bread
· 1 small onion
· Salt and pepper to taste
· Flour for coating
· Bread crumbs
· Oil for frying
· Lettuce and tomato to serve

Method:
Note: If put in boiling water, eggs take 10 minutes to boil (hard-boiled). In cold water, eggs take 15 minutes to boil. Wash and mince the meat. Add into it soaked bread, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper, finely cut onion, and mix altogether. Remove the shell from the boiled eggs and cover them with flour. Wrap the meat mixture around the boiled egg to form balls. Dip it into beaten egg, then into bread crumbs and fry. Serve with lettuce and tomato.
