MAC N CHEESE

Ingredients:
· 4oz. macaroni
· 4oz. cheese
· 4oz. milk
· 2 eggs
· 1oz. butter
· Salt, pepper, mustard (ground) to taste
· Breadcrumbs for top layer

Method:
Boil one pint of water with half a teaspoon of salt in it. When the water begins to boil, add macaroni in it and boil for two minutes. Grease the pie dish with butter. Grate the cheese and beat in the eggs. Put your milk slowly into it and add pepper, salt and mustard to taste. Cover the bottom of the pie dish with macaroni and then put a layer of cheese over it. Repeat the layers thrice. This should be kept half-an-inch below the top of the pie dish, otherwise while bubbling, it will flow out. Put four lumps of butter on four corners and one in the centre of the dish. Wipe out the sides of the dish, otherwise it will get burnt. Place the dish in an oven and bake for about 45 minutes. Towards the last 15 minutes, spread breadcrumbs on top for crunch.
