Crisp-fried Cheese Ravioli

Ingredients:
· 1 small loaf of bread
· 3oz. raisins
· 1oz. almonds
· 2 eggs
· 4oz. sugar
· Nutmeg
· Vanilla essence
· 2oz. milk
· 1oz. butter
Method:
Soak the whole bread in water. Mix together soaked bread, washed raisins, sliced almonds, lightly beaten eggs, 3 ounces of sugar, a little scraped nutmeg (for fragrance), half teaspoon of vanilla essence, milk and one ounces of burnt sugar (boil the sugar and then add a little water in it to make it into a syrup.) Grease a bowl with butter and place the mixture into it. Spread some butter over it or mix it with the mixture as well. Take a grease paper and cover the bowl. Boil some water in a sauce pan. Keep a steamer above the sauce pan with the pudding mixture inside. The pudding will get cooked in the steam of water. It takes about 45-60 minutes for the pudding to cook. When it is ready, let it cool and then turn out from the bowl.
