The 82nd Annual Golden Globes 2025

The stars descended upon the desert at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards; the 36th annual event honoured the year’s best movies and top actors, including the Vanguard Award for Emilia Pérez and an Ensemble Performance Award for Conclave.
Individual recipients were Colman Domingo (Spotlight Award, Actor for Sing Sing), Adrien Brody (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actor for The Brutalist), Angelina Jolie (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress for Maria), Nicole Kidman (International Star Award for Babygirl), Kieran Culkin (Breakthrough Performance Award, Actor for A Real Pain), Mikey Madison (Breakthrough Performance Award, Actress for Anora), Timothée Chalamet (Chairman’s Award for A Complete Unknown), Ariana Grande (Rising Star Award for Wicked), and Denis Villeneuve (Visionary Award for Dune: Part Two). The film festival took place between Jan. 2 and Jan. 13 and screened 165 films from over 71 countries.
Launched in 1990, the PSIFF is a premier presenter of world cinema located in the beautiful Coachella Valley at the base of Mt. San Jacinto in southern California. The film festival brings together a sophisticated and diverse audience, including industry, film aficionados from across the country and filmmakers from around the world. PSIFF aims to cultivate and promote the art and science of film through education and cross-cultural awareness.
