The Next School Hosts Annual Sports Day for Students at the Naya Nazimabad Stadium.
The Next School is proud to announce the successful celebration of its much-anticipated Annual Sports Day, bringing together students, faculty, and families for a day filled with athleticism, fun, and community spirit. Held on Saturday 25th January 2025 at the Naya Nazimabad Stadium.
This year’s Sports Day saw enthusiastic participation from students across all grade levels, as they competed in track and field events, relay races, and team sports. From the youngest Pre-year school athletes to the seasoned high school competitors, the day was packed with energy and excitement, showcasing the diverse talents of School’s student body.
“The Sports Day is always a highlight of the year for our students,” said Ms. Sadaf Aleem, Principal of School. “It’s an excellent opportunity to not only celebrate physical fitness but also to foster teamwork, discipline, and school spirit. We were thrilled to see such a positive turnout and so many students pushing themselves to do their best."
In addition to the traditional athletic events, the day featured fun activities for families and spectators. From obstacle courses for younger children to parent-child races, everyone was encouraged to get involved and enjoy the day together.
The highlight of the event was the much-anticipated awarding ceremony, where winning teams and top athletes were recognized for their hard work and dedication. As always, the Annual Sports Day at School was more as just about competition; it was a celebration of community, health, and the strong bonds that tie together students, faculty, and families.
“We want our students to understand the importance of both physical and mental well-being, and events like Sports Day give them a fun and exciting way to embrace those values,” said Mr. Abdullah Shahmeer
The event’s success would not have been possible without the support of the school's dedicated teachers and volunteers. School looks forward to continuing this cherished tradition in the years to come.
